Atlantic Packaging seeks an experienced Automation Controls Engineering Specialist to provide essential controls support for our Hannon and Mississauga plants. The position requires expertise in PLC/SCADA programming, troubleshooting, and VFDs. Your input will make a meaningful impact on our operations and community while working with advanced automation systems and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Act as subject expert for diagnostics and complex issues
• Provide technical support for machinery downtime 24/5
• Program PLCs, SCADA, and configure VFDs




• Cross-train electricians and provide debugging assistance
• Maintain engineering software for controls engineering laptops

Requirements:
• 8 years of OEM machine building experience required
• Minimum 5 years of PLC/SCADA programming experience
• Capable of troubleshooting complex automation systems
• Familiarity with Allen Bradley and Siemens technologies
• Knowledge of communication protocols and drive system integration
