Ledcor seeks a Pipefitter Foreman to oversee critical shutdowns in Alberta's industrial sector. This role is integral for maintaining efficiency and safety during high-pressure turnaround projects.
As a Pipefitter Foreman, you’ll provide leadership and direction to your team while executing essential maintenance and repair tasks. Your role requires a firm commitment to safety, quality, and effective project management in a high-stakes, time-sensitive workplace. Direct experience in shutdowns and turnarounds is essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute and manage piping scopes during shutdowns
• Lead and mentor Pipefitters and Apprentices effectively
• Ensure teams adhere to safety standards at all times
• Perform daily reporting and toolbox meetings
• Communicate with foremen for optimal project management
Requirements:
• Must hold Journeyperson Pipefitter certification
• 3-5 years of relevant foreman experience required
• Proven track record in industrial shutdown settings
• Skilled in reading P&IDs; and isometric drawings
• Flexibility for overtime and shift work during projects
