Role: Buyer – Supply Chain & Procurement

Location: Montreal/ Côte-de-liesse (ST-LAURENT)

Term: Contract

Bilingualism is mandatory

The Buyer I independently manages a portfolio of suppliers and purchase orders while ensuring supply continuity, contract compliance, and operational execution. The role requires proactive supplier management and ownership of material availability.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute and manage purchase orders from requisition through delivery.
- Monitor supplier performance and delivery commitments.
- Manage shortages, past dues, and recovery plans.
- Support new product introductions and program requirements.
- Coordinate with planning, manufacturing, quality, and logistics teams.
- Escalate supplier delivery and quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with sourcing strategies and negotiated agreements.
- Support RFQ and sourcing activities.

Education





- DEC / Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- Procurement or supply chain certification considered an asset.

Experience

- 1–3 years of procurement, supply chain, planning, manufacturing, or logistics experience.
