Job Description
We are seeking an experienced PMO Accelerator / Power Platform Solution Architect to support the enhancement and expansion of an existing portfolio and project management solution built using Microsoft PMO Accelerator and the Power Platform. The successful candidate will provide specialized technical expertise to deliver enhancements across security and permissions, data architecture, project scheduling, reporting, and project management capabilities.

This is a hands-on consulting role requiring someone who can assess the existing environment, recommend solutions, and support implementation.

Duration: September 2026 – December 31, 2026

Location: Remote

Engagement: Contract

Key Responsibilities

Provide subject matter expertise for an existing portfolio management solution built using Microsoft PMO Accelerator

Analyze and enhance the existing permissions model to provide more granular, role-based access controls

Design and implement custom tables and metadata structures within Power Apps and Dataverse

Expand portfolio and program-level functionality, including decision logs, risks, issues, and related project information

Assess options for uploading and integrating Microsoft Project (.MPP) schedule files with existing project records

Recommend and implement appropriate approaches for project schedule integration

Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving JSON custom fields within Power BI

Support the integration and reporting of newly created custom fields within the existing Power BI reporting layer





Design and develop standardized Microsoft Planner templates for project scheduling and task management

Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions

Provide recommendations related to solution architecture, data structures, security, integrations, and reporting

Ensure enhancements are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with established portfolio and project management processes

Required Qualifications

Strong subject matter expertise with Microsoft PMO Accelerator

5+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform

5+ years of experience designing and developing solutions using Power Apps

Strong experience with Dataverse, including custom tables, relationships, metadata, and data modelling

5+ years of experience with Power BI, including reporting, data integration, and troubleshooting

Experience designing and implementing role-based access controls and permissions

Experience working with Microsoft Project (.MPP) files and project schedule integrations

Experience parsing and transforming JSON data for reporting and analytics





Experience creating and configuring Microsoft Planner templates

Strong understanding of portfolio and project management processes

Ability to assess technical challenges, recommend solutions, and independently deliver enhancements

Solid communication and stakeholder management skills
