Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Claims Adjuster specializing in Property Insurance to join their team in Kimberley . This role involves managing complex property claims from inception to settlement, ensuring fair and efficient resolution for policyholders. You will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations, assessing damages, negotiating settlements, and upholding the company's commitment to excellent customer service. This on-site position requires extensive field experience and a deep understanding of property insurance principles in the Northern Cape region.
Key Responsibilities Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate complex property insurance claims , including fire, flood, and structural damage.
Conduct detailed site inspections, document findings, and assess the extent of loss or damage accurately.
Determine policy coverage and liability based on policy terms, conditions, and applicable laws.
Communicate effectively and empathetically with policyholders, providing clear explanations of the claims process and settlement offers.
Manage claim files efficiently, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate,



and timely.
Provide guidance and support to junior adjusters and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Requirements Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Claims Adjuster , with a strong specialization in property insurance.
In-depth knowledge of property construction, damage assessment, and repair processes.
Understanding of South African insurance legislation and claims handling best practices.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently, manage a caseload effectively, and meet deadlines.
Relevant professional certifications or qualifications in claims handling are highly preferred.
