What You'll Do Here

- Layout, fit, and weld fabricated steel components per blueprints and shop drawings
- Use GMAW, MCAW and FCAW welding techniques on mild steel.
- Operate overhead cranes, cutting torches, grinders, and other fabrication tools
- Inspect work to ensure it meets company and customer quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work workplace
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines

What You Bring to the Team

- 3+ years of experience in custom steel fabrication
- Strong proficiency in reading blueprints and weld symbols
- Skilled in GMAW, MCAW and FCAW welding
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of shop math and fabrication tolerances
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- AWS, CWB certification or equivalent is an asset

Preferred

- Forklift and Overhead crane operation experience
- Experience in a fabrication shop environment.
