Shape Canada’s energy future as an Intermediate Transmission Line Engineer with WSP. Focus on innovative substation projects while enhancing grid reliability and supporting renewable energy integration.

In this role, located preferably in Edmonton, you will join WSP's Transmission & Distribution Electrical team. Your expertise will contribute to the design of transmission lines ranging from 34.5kV to 500kV. Successful candidates will have a strong track record and experience in managing multiple projects while ensuring client satisfaction and technical compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design projects for high voltage transmission lines
• Prepare and review engineering deliverables and specifications
• Conduct quality reviews of internal and subcontractor work




• Manage project timelines, budgets, and reporting
• Coordinate with contractors to maintain client relations

Requirements:
• BS degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Engineering Physics
• 5-10 years experience in transmission line design
• Proficiency with PLS-CADD and related software
• Skilled Engineering License (P.Eng.) required
• Experience in project engineering and management
