The Senior Systems Safety Engineer will be responsible for safety assurance and certification, interfacing with clients, and leading multidisciplinary engineering teams. Your role is crucial in evaluating hazards and ensuring integrated systems engineering while managing stakeholder relationships efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee safety assurance activities for major projects
• Lead risk assessments and hazard management
• Prepare and review Safety Assurance Reports




• Define project safety plans with acceptance criteria
• Interface with clients and regulatory bodies

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline
• 15+ years of system safety engineering experience
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Canada strongly preferred
• Experience with IEC 61508 or EN 50126
• Robust leadership and stakeholder management skills
