Contribute to Mi'kmaq empowerment by managing the Regional Data Centre project as a Project Manager with the Union of Nova Scotia Mi'kmaq. This full time role will focus on building culturally appropriate data infrastructures.

Reporting to the Governance Manager in Membertou or Cole Harbour, you will oversee a vital project dedicated to data sovereignty and community needs. The project involves comprehensive planning, stakeholder management, and governance processes, ensuring cultural integrity and security in data management. Your strategic and operational skills are central to the project's success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee development of the Regional Data Centre
• Champion community-focused data governance
• Manage project implementation, timelines, and budgets




• Coordinate stakeholder meetings and communications
• Ensure compliance with Indigenous governance policies

Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in relevant disciplines
• 5+ years in managing multi-stakeholder projects
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software
• Understanding of Indigenous data sovereignty principles
• Must possess a valid driver's license for travel
