About the Role Our client is seeking a qualified Senior Instrumentation and Control Technician to join their team in Kimberley. This role is critical for the installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of industrial instrumentation and control systems used in various process industries. You will ensure the accuracy and reliability of measurement devices and control loops, contributing to the safety and efficiency of operations in the Northern Cape region. This is a demanding yet rewarding position for a technician with a strong background in process control and instrumentation.
Key Responsibilities Install, calibrate, and maintain a wide range of industrial instruments, including pressure, temperature, flow, and level sensors.
Troubleshoot and repair control systems, including PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems.
Perform routine maintenance and diagnostic checks on instrumentation and control hardware.
Interpret P&IDs;, electrical schematics, and instrument loop diagrams.
Ensure all work adheres to strict safety protocols and company quality standards.




Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and operators.
Requirements Minimum of 6 years of experience in instrumentation and control systems maintenance.
Proficiency with various types of industrial instruments and calibration equipment.
Strong understanding of process control loops, feedback systems, and logic controllers.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation related to instrumentation.
Experience troubleshooting complex control system issues in an industrial setting.
