About the Role Our client requires an Environmental Services Assistant to contribute to the cleanliness and hygiene of facilities in Kimberley. This role is fundamental to ensuring a safe, healthy, and pleasant environment for patients, staff, and visitors (if in a healthcare setting) or employees and clients. You will perform a variety of cleaning and sanitation duties, waste management, and potentially assist with minor maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding high standards of cleanliness. Key Responsibilities Perform general cleaning duties in assigned areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
Sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to maintain hygiene standards.
Manage and dispose of general waste and recycling according to established procedures.




Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies in designated locations.
Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly.
Assist with minor maintenance tasks or report any facility issues observed.
Requirements Experience in a cleaning or janitorial role , preferably in a professional or institutional setting.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe application.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks.
A strong commitment to maintaining high sanitation standards .
