Build Your Career Supporting One of Canada's Leading Heavy Equipment Service Operations We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Service Coordinator to join our team in Fort McMurray. In this role, you will play a critical part in coordinating maintenance and repair activities, ensuring work progresses efficiently from service request through to completion and invoicing. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and can effectively manage multiple priorities while supporting operational teams, technicians, and customers.
Job Description: What You'll Do Coordinate Repair and Maintenance Activities
Prepare and coordinate service requests and supporting documentation.
Verify customer account information, service history, warranty details, and repair requirements.
Ensure repair scopes, schedules, and budgets are clearly documented and aligned with customer expectations.
Identify and communicate potential operational or business risks before work begins.
Support Ongoing Service Work
Maintain accurate and real-time updates in service management systems.
Coordinate repair schedules, transportation logistics, and third-party service providers.
Assist with warranty, goodwill, and administrative processes related to repairs.
Support planning meetings and document action items and commitments.
Monitor repair progress and proactively communicate delays, risks, or changes impacting customer commitments.
Coordinate site access requirements and training for service technicians when necessary.
Drive Efficient Job Closure
Ensure all documentation, labour entries, invoices, service reports, and supporting records are complete.
Follow up on outstanding items that may delay billing or job closure.
Support warranty claim submission and documentation requirements.
Help ensure repair orders are accurately completed and ready for final customer review and invoicing.

Strong computer skills and keyboarding abilities (50+ WPM preferred).
Preferred Experience We're interested in candidates with 2-4 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
Service or maintenance coordination
Document control or administration
Construction, mining, forestry, or oil and gas operations
Equipment dealership environments
Project coordination
Field service support
Process improvement or workflow management
Education Preference will be given to candidates with post‑secondary education in: Business Administration
Administrative Management
Accounting or Finance
Operations Management
Related disciplines
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.
