Chatham-Kent requires enthusiastic Public Health Dentists to join its Health Unit team. This role allows you to make a lasting impact by offering services that address the oral health needs of vulnerable populations. You will perform full dental evaluations, treatment planning, and community outreach, all under the guiding principles of public health.
Key Responsibilities:
• Examine and diagnose dental conditions with clients
• Create and implement informed treatment plans
• Note and document all client interactions according to standards
• Promote oral health through educational initiatives
• Conduct emergency and routine dental treatments
Requirements:
• Doctor of Dental Surgery degree essential
• 3-5 years community health experience beneficial
• Current CPR and first aid certification
• Knowledge of relevant health legislation
• Commitment to patient-centered care and collaboration
