This position, based at the University of Calgary, focuses on building a robust partnership ecosystem that supports Canadian teams participating in XPRIZE competitions. You'll identify opportunities, foster relationships, and develop strategic partnerships with universities, industry, government, and philanthropic groups. Your cutting-edge approach will be essential in navigating funding, mentoring, and commercialization pathways for emerging teams.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead strategy for developing national partnership opportunities
• Negotiate multifaceted partnerships with diverse stakeholders




• Manage and grow existing partner relationships for sustained engagement
• Oversee the partnership portfolio and identify development priorities
• Build strategic relationships to enhance national reach

Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree; master's degree preferred
• 5-7 years in business development and strategic partnerships
• Proven track record in negotiating high-value deals
• Exceptional communication and relationship management skills
• Experience with CRM tools in tracking partnership data
