Associate Customer Success Data Analyst About the Role We're looking for an Associate Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you'll be the primary data resource for our Enterprise Customer Success Management team — fielding incoming data requests, building & maintaining reports and dashboards, and helping CSMs get the information they need to support their retailer partners. This is a high-volume, reactive-support role. You'll work across a broad portfolio of retailers and will need to move quickly, communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders, and produce clean, reliable outputs within structured SLAs. This role is execution-focused; success means that CSMs spend less time blocked on data.
What You’ll Do Fulfill incoming CSM data requests via a Jira intake process — pulling retailer metrics, building one-off analyses, and delivering results in a clear, CSM-ready format
Maintain and update existing Mode reports and dashboards, including the weekly automated retailer report flow
Support CSMs with standard data pulls across key metrics: GMV trends, conversion funnel, cancellation rates, reorder rates, new guest activation, and campaign performance
Troubleshoot data discrepancies and flag anomalies to the appropriate analytics or engineering team
Document recurring request patterns to inform future playbook and tooling development
Communicate proactively on request status, turnaround times, and any blockers
Make & document consistent improvements based on feedback to the existing process of receiving & completing data requests
What You Bring 2–4 years of experience in an analytical or data operations role
Strong SQL skills — you can write and modify queries independently, navigate unfamiliar schemas, and validate your own outputs
Comfort working in Mode, Tableau, or similar BI tools; ability to update existing reports without starting from scratch
Solid Google Sheets / Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and chart creation
Explicit written and verbal communication — you can translate a data output into a plain-language summary for a non-technical audience
High responsiveness and strong prioritization instincts; you're comfortable in a fast-moving, request-driven environment
Self starter; you’re comfortable reaching out to cross-functional teams to advocate for what you need to get the job done well
Familiarity with eCommerce metrics and/or the grocery retail landscape is a plus, but not required
Additional Information The expected contract duration is 6 months, with the possibility of extension depending on business needs.
