This Occupational Therapist role supports patients through CHEO’s Home & Community Care. You will conduct assessments in schools and homes, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams. This position enhances safety and independence for students by addressing their unique needs and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete comprehensive assessments in diverse environments
• Establish measurable treatment goals and plans
• Provide direct therapy and caregiver education
• Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences
• Develop recommendations for assistive devices
Requirements:
• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• Minimum two years of pediatric experience preferred
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel needed
