Reporting directly to the Director of Maintenance, this influential position involves managing enterprise-wide electrical safety and compliance efforts. You'll develop and implement strategic frameworks that align with regulatory guidelines while serving as a vital contact with Glencore. Engage diverse teams to ensure seamless standardization and oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
• Champion electrical safety risk management initiatives
• Maintain alignment with the Electrical Engineering Control Plan
• Lead the development of compliance governance frameworks
• Act as main liaison with Glencore for electrical issues
• Execute audits to assess compliance and mitigate risks
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Over 12 years of industry experience
• Registration eligibility as a Skilled Engineer
• Proficient in governance and compliance implementation
• Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and BC mining regulations
