Role and Responsibilities
Trojan Safety Services Ltd is looking for professional individuals with positive attitudes to join our team. We are actively recruiting persons for the position of PCP to work in and around Fort St John. Our personnel are an essential part of any operation on site. We are always on the lookout for independent, enthusiastic and motivated individuals to add to our staff of emergency medical personnel
Provide medical care in accordance with Trojan safety medical protocols
Provide medical care within the scope of practice
Represent Trojan safety in a positive and professional manner
Be able to effectively handle and respond to stressful/emergency situation
Coordinate STARS site if needed
Maintain cleanliness of all equipment
Adhere to Trojan Safety Services Ltd Protected Work Practices and Hazard ID Procedures
Sign in/out personnel on location
Fill out daily paperwork (Safety meeting with head count, daily operation reports, hazard identification, service tickets, accident/incident if applicable)
Achieve and Maintain 100% Compliance within Trojan's Health and Safety Program
Complete daily checklists for using Formstack app– AED, Medication Kit, Trauma and airway bags, oxygen bottles Ensure phone and radio checks and daily contacts within the team are working
Attend daily site safety/toolbox and operations meetings
Assist in identifying any health hazards, near misses, and any work site hazards
Possess strong interpersonal skills
Previous employment in the Oil and Gas Industry Ability to travel areas of Alberta for extended periods of time due to the remote worksite location

Physical Requirements
Posses and maintain a reasonable level of fitness;
Have good observation skills;
Be able to work long hours, work many consecutive shifts both day and night shift;
Be able to work several consecutive shifts, both day and night shifts;
PCP's must have normal color vision as many safety systems are color code.
Qualifications
Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence & Current (within 3 months) Drivers Abstract
CSO
H2S
WHIMIS (provided)
TDG (provided)
BLS
Current Provincial Governing Body Registration
Must also maintain a current OFA3
This is a safety sensitive position and the candidate must complete and clear a pre-employment drug test.
