Drive community growth with the Yellowknives Dene First Nation as a Class 3 Driver. Your role will support transportation needs for residents and ensure vehicle reliability.

Reporting to the Project Coordinator, this position is pivotal in ensuring safe transportation for community members in Dettah and Ndilo. The role demands familiarity with vehicle maintenance protocols and a commitment to safety. The ideal candidate will possess a Class 3 Driver’s Licence and relevant safety training to excel in this community-focused position.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create effective shuttle routes for community transport
• Conduct detailed vehicle inspections and maintenance
• Ensure the safety of all passengers during travel
• Manage water delivery records and schedules
• Assist with fire hall maintenance as needed

Requirements:
• Valid Class 3 Driver’s Licence with airbrakes endorsement
• Completion of essential Heavy Equipment Operator or Truck Driving Course
• First Aid/CPR and Fire Safety Training required
• WHMIS certification
• Grade 12 education or equivalent
