Educators will guide you through theory and practical experiences at Port McNeill Hospital, ensuring your readiness for direct nursing care. The position will transition into a regular rotation in your trained specialty, fulfilling critical responsibilities in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct nursing care to patients/residents
• Follow unit/program philosophy and competency guidelines
• Report to the Nurse Manager or designate




• Maintain compliance with BCCNM Standards for Nursing Practice
• Ensure patient and staff safety as a shared priority

Requirements:
• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives
• Recent medical and/or surgical experience required
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to organize workload and set priorities
• Physical capability to perform nursing duties
