Our client is looking for a committed Child Welfare Officer to work remotely. This role involves assessing child safety, providing counseling, and developing support plans for families in need. You will coordinate with schools and healthcare providers while maintaining confidentiality throughout your work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct remote assessments of children’s safety and family needs
• Develop protective service plans for at-risk children
• Provide counseling and support to families in crises
• Liaise with community agencies to coordinate services
• Maintain detailed, confidential case records for legal compliance
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
• Registration with SACSSP or equivalent
• Experience in child protection and family support
• Solid understanding of child development and legislation
• Excellent remote communication and crisis intervention skills
