from an accredited institutionOntario College of Teachers (OCT) certification in Good StandingPrimary/Junior qualificationMinimum of 1 year of teaching experience to students at the Primary-Junior/Intermediate levelStrong classroom management and organizational skillsAbility to create engaging, inquiry-based learning experiencesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience integrating educational technology (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, SMART Board, SeeSaw, etc.)Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environmentCurrent Standard First Aid/CPR C with AED certificationCurrent Vulnerable Sector CheckTarget Hiring RangePlacement on the VMA faculty salary grid is determiend based upon years of applicable teaching experience, level of education completed, and Additional Qualifications (AQs).
