Elevate safety standards at Rubicon Organics as a Health and Safety Manager in Delta, BC. Lead initiatives that shape a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will oversee health and safety functions for a team of over 300 employees. This leadership role focuses on the continuous improvement of the Safety Management System (SMS) while promoting a proactive and compliant workplace. You will ensure every operational area integrates safety principles into daily practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Own and enhance the company’s Safety Management System (SMS)
• Lead health and safety strategy execution across departments
• Develop and coach the Safety Advisor and safety teams




• Ensure compliance with legislative health and safety requirements
• Conduct audits and inspections to maintain safety integrity

Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
• 7–10 years of progressive health and safety experience
• Knowledge of WorkSafeBC requirements and audit readiness
• Experience in manufacturing or cannabis environments preferred
• Solid communication and analytical skills
