8+ years of experience in AI Governance, AI Risk Management, Technology Risk, or Responsible AI
Positive understanding of Canadian privacy laws and regulations (PIPEDA and related frameworks)
Experience conducting risk assessments, impact assessments, or compliance reviews
Understanding of AI/GenAI use cases and associated risks
Strong documentation, reporting, and presentation skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Key Responsibilities: Conduct risk profiling and assessments of AI/GenAI use cases, models, and applications developed by internal and external teams
Identify risks related to privacy, security, compliance, bias, explainability, and responsible AI practices
Work closely with development and business teams to define and track risk mitigation actions
Review AI solutions for compliance with organizational governance standards and regulatory requirements
Prepare governance documentation, status reports, risk summaries, and committee presentation materials
Present findings and recommendations to Risk Review Committees and key stakeholders
Coordinate with governance, privacy, legal, security, and technology teams throughout the assessment lifecycle
Support ongoing monitoring and reporting of approved AI initiatives
Collaborate closely with existing AI Governance team members and contribute to ongoing governance initiatives and reviews
