Simpson Landing is a 24/7 setting where services are guided by a recovery‑oriented approach, with an emphasis on psychosocial rehabilitation.The Health Care Social Worker is a member of the interdisciplinary health care team, providing collaborative, holistic care across the continuum of primary to quaternary care. Social Workers focus on the relationships between people and their environments, which influence psychosocial, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. Social workers employ the social determinants of health in a dynamic and interactive process of engagement, assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. They build upon patient/client strengths by focusing on existing coping strategies, problem solving skills, past successes,
