About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Neuroscientist to lead research in Cognitive Neuroscience , operating under a hybrid work model in Kimberley . This role will focus on investigating the neural basis of cognition, memory, and decision-making using a range of advanced research methodologies. You will guide experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of researchers. Key Responsibilities Design and conduct experiments investigating neural mechanisms underlying cognitive functions, such as attention, learning, and memory.
Utilize neuroimaging techniques (e.g., fMRI, EEG) and electrophysiology to record and analyze brain activity.
Develop computational models to simulate cognitive processes and interpret neurophysiological data.
Collaborate with clinicians and other researchers to bridge basic research findings with potential applications.
Analyze complex datasets, ensuring statistical rigor and validity of results.




Mentor junior researchers and contribute to scientific publications and presentations.
Requirements Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Psychology, Cognitive Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 6 years of post-doctoral or independent research experience in cognitive neuroscience.
Proven expertise in designing and executing cognitive neuroscience experiments.
Robust experience with neuroimaging data acquisition and analysis software (e.g., SPM, FSL, AFNI).
Proficiency in statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
Excellent communication, leadership, and collaborative skills for this Kimberley -based hybrid role.
