SLR Consulting seeks a Senior Underwater Acoustics Consultant to contribute to high-impact marine projects across North America. This role emphasizes underwater sound modeling and environmental report generation.

In this position, you will be integral to our Acoustics team, responsible for leading modeling efforts, assisting in field measurements, and developing reports for marine assessment projects. Your team-oriented approach will be essential when interacting with clients and stakeholders across various coastal and offshore development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead assessments for marine noise impact and compliance
• Develop underwater sound modeling frameworks
• Coordinate acoustic monitoring and data collection programs




• Assist in the preparation of technical reports
• Mentor junior team members in acoustics techniques

Requirements:
• 5+ years in underwater acoustics consulting
• Relevant Bachelor's or Master’s degree required
• Strong skills in Python, MATLAB, or similar tools
• Experience in marine wildlife behavior studies
• Proven ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
