The UGDSB is looking for a dedicated teacher for a 1.0 FTE position at Island Lake. Your responsibilities will include delivering continuous education during the regular teacher's absence while adhering to Ontario Ministry of Education standards. Applicants must hold an Intermediate qualification and are encouraged to contribute positively to our diverse learning community.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality education during the regular teacher's absence
• Support student achievement and well-being




• Follow Board policies and educational standards
• Collaborate with the educational team
• Prepare lesson plans and assess student progress

Requirements:
• Intermediate teaching qualification required
• Experience working with Grade 8 students preferred
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom
• Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) is mandatory
• Must meet responsibilities defined by UGDSB
