About the Role Our client is seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Senior Actuary to join their fully remote team. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and refinement of complex actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and solvency assessments.
Provide expert actuarial guidance on product development, strategic initiatives, and regulatory changes.
Oversee the analysis of large datasets to inform risk assessment and financial forecasting.
Develop and implement robust capital management strategies and models.
Mentor and guide junior actuarial staff, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
Present complex actuarial findings and recommendations to senior management and the board.
Ensure compliance with all applicable actuarial standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements Fellowship in a recognized actuarial society (e.g., FSA, FIA, FASSA).
A minimum of 8 years of progressive actuarial experience in the insurance industry.
Expertise in multiple actuarial domains such as pricing, reserving, capital modeling, or risk management.
Advanced proficiency in actuarial modeling software and programming languages (e.g., R, Python, SQL).
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
Proven ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
