About the Role Our client is seeking a seasoned and results-oriented Distribution Center Manager to lead their state-of-the-art facility in Kimberley . This critical role involves overseeing all aspects of distribution center operations, including receiving, warehousing, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping. You will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, ensuring high levels of productivity and accuracy, and managing a team of dedicated staff. The ideal candidate possesses robust leadership qualities, extensive experience in distribution management, and a commitment to safety and quality, contributing to the company's success in the Northern Cape . This is a key management position focused on optimizing throughput and resource utilization.
Key Responsibilities Manage all day-to-day operations of the distribution center, ensuring efficient workflow and resource allocation.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize receiving, warehousing, inventory management, and shipping processes.
Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse supervisors and associates to achieve performance targets.
Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and operational standards to ensure a secure working environment.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs),



analyze operational data, and implement improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Manage relationships with vendors, carriers, and other third-party service providers.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in distribution center management or a similar senior logistics role.
Demonstrated success in improving operational efficiency, productivity, and cost management in a warehouse environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
In-depth knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics best practices.
Ability to work on-site in Kimberley and manage a complex operational environment.
