Support residents' well-being as a part-time Health Care Assistant at AgeCare Shawnee in Calgary, Alberta. This role requires compassionate, skilled care delivery under nursing supervision, enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

In this position, you will utilize your experience in providing basic care and services, including personal hygiene, meal assistance, and mobility support. Collaborating with a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will ensure resident care plans are closely followed, supporting both physical and emotional needs in a respectful environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with bathing and hygiene tasks
• Use proper equipment for transferring residents
• Help with feeding during meals and snacks




• Administer prescribed treatments under nurse guidance
• Support residents in social activities within the facility

Requirements:
• One year of experience in a healthcare workplace
• Completion of a PCA/HCA Certification Course
• Registration with the College of Alberta Health Aides
• Strong command of English communication
• Post-secondary education considered an asset
