GrizzlyTrek is actively hiring certified ALP locators for year-round work in Alberta. This position involves locating and marking underground facilities, preventing potential strikes during construction. You will work across rural project sites, utilizing your skills for a pay range of $30 to $40 per hour, correlating with your experience and certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Utilize electromagnetic equipment to locate buried utilities
• Confirm depths and locations ahead of construction work
• Read and interpret various site plans and utility maps
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports
• Operate vehicles to access work sites efficiently
Requirements:
• ALP locator certification and relevant field experience
• Ground Disturbance Level II, H2S Alive, and First Aid certifications
• Valid Class 5 licence with no driving infractions
• Experience with mapping software and utility drawings
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
