Be a key player in patient safety as a Casual Protection Officer with Island Health. Engage in maintaining order and enforcing security protocols during rotating shifts.

In this role, you'll report directly to the Team Leader of Protection Services. Your responsibilities will include securing individuals and property while ensuring adherence to Island Health policies. Effective communication and the ability to handle physical demands are crucial for success in maintaining a secure environment across various sites.

Key Responsibilities:
• Enforce security measures and protocols
• Provide effective verbal and written communication
• Travel as required between multiple sites
• Uphold safety for all individuals in the facility
• Engage in physical activities as per job requirements

Requirements:
• Successful completion of Grade 12
• Basic and Advanced Security Training completed
• One year of related experience desired
• Valid B.C. Security Guard License with handcuff endorsement
• Class 5 BC Driver's License
