About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead critical projects within their Mining Operations in the Kimberley region. This position is vital for overseeing projects related to operational efficiency, safety enhancements, and resource optimization within the mining sector. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, contributing to the sustainable growth and success of the company's operations in the Northern Cape . The ideal candidate has a strong background in mining engineering or operations management.
Key Responsibilities Manage the planning, execution, and successful closure of projects within mining operations, focusing on safety and efficiency.
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for mining-related initiatives.
Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations specific to the mining industry.
Coordinate with site personnel, engineering teams, contractors, and equipment suppliers.
Identify and manage project risks, operational challenges, and stakeholder expectations in the Kimberley area.




Report on project progress, outcomes, and key performance indicators to senior management.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field; PMP certification is a significant advantage.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management, with a substantial portion focused on mining operations or related industries.
Proven experience in managing large-scale projects in challenging operational environments.
Strong understanding of mining processes, equipment, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are critical for success in Kimberley .
