Unimax is seeking a Legal Affairs Director to provide expert legal guidance across its divisions. This role includes focus on compliance, commercial law, and contract management, with work from home options.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Legal Affairs Director acts as a critical advisor on corporate legal matters. You will manage risk and ensure compliance, particularly in commercial contracts and corporate governance. A successful candidate will also oversee corporate secretary duties for Unimax's Board of Directors as part of this senior legal role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Draft and review commercial agreements and contracts
• Maintain corporate records and governance regulations




• Participate in strategic transactions and due diligence
• Provide legal advisement on operational matters
• Coordinate Board of Directors meeting preparations

Requirements:
• LL.B. or J.D. required
• Member of Barreau du Québec
• Minimum 10 years in corporate/commercial law
• Experience in mergers and acquisitions is an asset
• Bilingual in French and English
