Ontario Northland is looking for a Spare Express Freight Services Worker in Moosonee. This role focuses on providing crucial freight services while delivering exceptional customer support in a vibrant community setting.

With two open positions in our Rail Transportation department, you will play a key role in managing freight operations. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory records, engaging with customers for shipment details, and managing freight handling tasks efficiently. Your dedication helps enhance connectivity for the James Bay Coast.

Key Responsibilities:
• Record and manage freight activity and inventory
• Communicate freight rates and timelines to customers
• Load and unload freight and customer baggage




• Weigh and document outgoing freight accurately
• Operate required warehouse equipment safely

Requirements:
• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent work experience
• Capability to lift up to 75lbs
• Hold a valid G2 or G driver's license
• Proficient communication skills, knowledge of English, French, or Cree preferred
• Willingness to work shifts and weekends
