This role at the Centre for Research on Health and Nursing focuses on facilitating the BIPOC Health Sciences student group. You will spearhead scheduling, manage communications, and create supportive meeting environments for both undergraduate and graduate BIPOC students. This position is ideal for a health sciences student eager to lead initiatives that address critical topics affecting the BIPOC community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and manage BIPOC student grouping sessions
• Foster communication among group members
• Document group statistics and feedback
• Create and prepare effective meeting content
• Guide discussions related to BIPOC health issues
Requirements:
• Enrollment in a Faculty of Health Sciences program
• Robust skills in organization and time management
• Experience in organizing events is a plus
• Understanding of BIPOC issues highly valued
• High proficiency in English; French is a plus
