Experience in performing arts or music is an asset but not required - our client is open to strong marketing leaders from other customer- and audience-driven industries who are excited to bring their expertise into a new setting.

What- the Role:
Lead the overall marketing, audience development and customer experience strategy, with a focus on increasing sales, attendance, audience engagement and long-term customer relationships.
Provide strategic direction and leadership across digital marketing, communications, customer journey, business intelligence and customer service.
Develop and oversee integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, website, publicity and other channels, ensuring campaigns are effectively positioned, executed and optimized.
Drive audience acquisition, retention and growth, identifying opportunities to reach new audiences and increase engagement with existing customers.
Review marketing performance, campaign results and audience data to identify opportunities and make informed decisions around messaging, targeting, creative and investment.
Provide leadership and oversight to the Customer Service/Patron Services function, ensuring strong service standards and a consistent, positive customer experience.
Lead, mentor and develop a multidisciplinary team, establishing clear priorities, accountability and a collaborative, high-performing environment.
Manage marketing and audience experience budgets and oversee external agencies, contractors and vendors.
Partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing and audience initiatives support broader organizational and revenue goals.
Who – the Candidate:
10+ years of progressive marketing experience,
including significant experience leading teams and managing budgets and organizational strategy.
Strong background in digital/performance marketing, audience acquisition, campaign strategy and analytics, with a demonstrated ability to connect marketing activity to revenue and audience growth.
Proven experience developing and leading integrated marketing campaigns and making strategic decisions around channels, audiences, creative and investment.
Strong people leadership and operational management experience, ideally including oversight of a customer-facing, customer service or client experience function.
Excellent written, verbal communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to develop compelling messaging and communicate effectively across diverse stakeholders.
Strong analytical and commercial judgment, with the ability to understand data and use it to drive marketing and business decisions.
Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, agencies, contractors and external partners.
Postsecondary education in marketing, business, communications or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in entertainment, hospitality, tourism, media, sports, retail or another audience/customer-driven environment would be considered an asset.
A genuine interest in learning a new industry and understanding the organization’s product, audience and customer base.
How Much:
$82-87K +4 weeks vacation, extended health from day one, and a variety of additional perks.
