As a key member of the team at The Heights at Mount View, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating enjoyable and therapeutic recreation programs tailored to residents’ needs. Your responsibilities will include planning engaging activities and ensuring a secure, supportive environment under the guidance of the Recreation Therapy Manager. You will also assist residents during meals and offer direction to volunteers, enhancing overall community spirit.

Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and implement recreational health programs
• Assist residents with their meal times
• Provide leadership and assistance to volunteers




• Cultivate positive relationships with residents and family members
• Maintain safety and enjoyment standards during activities

Requirements:
• Must have completed Grade 12 education
• Recreation Therapy Aide Certification preferred
• Current Food Safe and First Aid certifications required
• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills needed
