About the Role Our client is looking for a skilled Telecom Infrastructure Engineer to play a key role in managing and expanding their network infrastructure in the Kimberley area. This position involves the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust telecommunications systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. You will work with a variety of hardware and software technologies, contributing to the backbone of essential communication services in the region. This role is suited for an engineer with a strong technical foundation in network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage core telecom network infrastructure , including transmission, access, and core network elements.
Perform capacity planning and upgrades to ensure the network can meet future demands.
Troubleshoot complex network issues and implement solutions to maintain service quality.
Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on new technology evaluations and implementations.




Ensure network security and compliance with industry best practices.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing telecommunications infrastructure .
Strong expertise in IP networking, MPLS, DWDM, and other relevant transmission technologies.
Hands-on experience with network hardware from major vendors.
Proficiency in network simulation and analysis tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a methodical approach to technical challenges.
