Your area of focus. As a Quick Lube Technician, you are responsible for inspecting and reporting finding to the quick lube advisor. The quick lube technician is the first step in the direction to becoming a service technician.
What drives your day-to-day? Perform Oil & filter changes
Perform complementary multi-point inspection on vehicle, check, and mark all required items on the checklist as required. Present the findings to the Service Advisor
Replace oil and air filters
Inspect vehicle fluid levels, replace or replenish as necessary
Check tire pressure and add air if needed
Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants
Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts
Report machinery defects or malfunctions to the supervisor
Document all work performed on the repair order
Ensure that customers' cars are kept clean




Notify the Service Advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle
Keep the shop area neat and clean
Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner
Other tasks as assigned
What are the must-haves? High school diploma or the equivalent
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Efficient problem-solving skills
Ability to work individually and as part of a team
High level of integrity and work ethic
Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods of time and using power tools and hand-held equipment
A valid driver's license and a safe driving history
