JOB SUMMARY
Reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for all warehouse duties including but not limited to order checking, packing, bin dropping, moving cages around, receiving, order fulfillment and shipping. Each associate is also responsible for assisting in the overall cleanliness of the warehouse, including sweeping/tidying aisles, and organizing and maintaining bin and cage cleanliness. In addition, the Warehouse Associate will assist in other areas as needed to best assist the warehouse in day‑to‑day operations while The Authentic T‑Shirt Company®/SanMar Canada strives to provide opportunities for personal growth and development.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Ability to recognize totes, cages, product and colours

Use RF Technology

Must be able to establish a routine to work efficiently

Must be able to count quickly and accurately,



with high attention to detail

Ability to work well in a team environment

Have an outgoing and energetic personality who takes pride in a job well done

Taking ownership of tasks

Must be Narrow Aisle Order Picker certified (in-house training provided)

Long term ability to work with minimal supervision and follow directions as needed

Working Conditions

40 hours per week; occasional overtime

Walking for extended periods

Ability to push/pull cages

Use of ladder

Able to work at heights of 20 plus ft on Narrow Aisle Order Picker

Able to bend and stretch when picking product from bins

Able to work well under pressure in order to meet tight deadlines

Ability to repeatedly reach, bend, stretch, kneel and lift and carry weight up to 50lbs when performing duties

Ability to wear CSA approved safety footwear with protective steel toes and other personal protective equipment as required

Job Responsibilities

Cage Operator, checker, packer, shipper and other assigned duties as required

Meet or exceed KPI Targets set per job function

Maintain 99.7% accuracy

Keep assigned checking stations/work area clean and litter free

Report mixed or wrong product in bins to the Warehouse Supervisor immediately





Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Participate in inventory cycle counts we required

Assist in maintenance and organization of warehouse floor, bins and aisle/station cleanliness as needed

Collect and organize totes and cages, drop off totes in the rack location

Move cages and make them ready for order picker

Participate in cardboard breakdown and recycling

Participate in changing clear plastic bags at the end of low bay aisles as needed

Participate in warehouse housekeeping and maintenance

Adhere to current and future company policies and standards to ensure a protected and agreeable working environment

Assist in other areas of the Warehouse department and additional duties as required by management

Working Relationships

Work in cooperation and communicate effectively with all levels of the staff

Handle any confrontational matters in a professional manner

Support and respond to SanMar Canada's customers’ needs and requests

Keep co‑workers informed of activities that have implications to their department
