On June 30, 2024, Manchester Tank announced the acquisition of Ditech Testing, joining the McWane family of companies, a strategic move that strengthens our capabilities within the propane tank and pressure vessel industry.
Job Description The Main Line assembler uses hand tools and equipment to either remove valves and gauges or install new equipment to propane tanks during the refurbishment process.
Responsibilities
Operation of hand tools (Grinder/ drill) and other mechanical equipment
Removal of valves and gauges from propane tanks
Installation of new valves and gauges
Mayinclude learning a technique used to move tanks from on area to another
May include prepping tank for painting
Maintaining good housekeeping practice, keeping work area neat and tidy
Responsible for following company policies and procedures
Help produce highest quality product for customer demand
Qualifications High school diploma/GED required
Minimum 3-5 years working in a fast-paced production setting preferred
Must be able to physically complete required tasks – may include lifting up to 50lbs, bending, stopping, walking or lifting throughout the shift.
Experience in production or assembly line is an asset
Experience using hand tools (drills, sanders etc)
CSA safety boots
Language – English is required / Bilingual (French Speaking) is an asset
Positive Attitude and willingness to learn
Must be reliable
Must be safety conscious.
