Bring2Life Creative Counselling is seeking a qualified professional to provide children, youth and adults with solution-focused brief intervention counselling services. This position includes duties related to clinical service delivery and requires the use of a personal vehicle to go to clients. Working with the Executive Director, the successful candidate will ensure the delivery of quality counselling services to our clients based in Yorkton, SK.
Please note: This position is a hybrid position with mandatory travel in Yorkton and area (company vehicle provided). It starts at 10-15 hours per week and will increase hours in coming weeks/months.
Expectations:
Conduct initial assessments to determine the needs and goals of the children, youth and adults in need of services.
Provide evidence-based counselling services to children, youth, in individual, group and adults in individual, group, or family settings.
Develop collaborative service plans tailored to the unique needs of children, youth, or adults.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services.
Be knowledgeable of community resources.
Have excellent oral, written, organizational and time management skills.
Perform duties in a confidential manner.
Qualifications, Education and Experience:
Minimum of a Bachelor degree in Social Work, Masters Degree in Psychology, or related discipline.
Experience providing counselling to children, youth, and/ or adults.
Experience with evidence-based therapeutic interventions for children and youth.
Hold or eligible for a professional license or registration, eg., Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers.
Clean criminal record and vulnerable sector check.
