Support the learning of students in Actuarial Models at the Warren Centre by serving as a Grader/Marker for ACT 3130. This role allows for meaningful interaction with students by providing feedback and evaluations.
The University of Manitoba’s I. H. Asper School of Business is offering a position for a Grader/Marker starting September 9, 2026. This role is intended for graduate students who will grade assignments and offer candid feedback on student submissions. You'll work closely with course supervisors and engage with students through scheduled consultations, enhancing their understanding of material.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend orientation sessions to receive grading guidelines
• Grade all student submissions including tests and projects
• Produce feedback on assignments' quality
• Offer scheduled consultation for academic support
• Assist in producing course-related tests and projects
Requirements:
• Must be a graduate student with grading expertise
• Empathetic perspective towards student needs
• Effective English language communication skills
• Valid study permit for international students
• Must be a full-time University of Manitoba student
