A Distribution Supervisor plays a critical role in leading and supporting a team of drivers with a hands-on leadership approach. This position requires building strong working relationships through open and respectful communication regarding performance, attendance, and behavior. The supervisor ensures that daily operations are conducted safely, in full compliance with transport regulations, company policies, and operational procedures. Responsibilities include coordinating deliveries in collaboration with Scheduling and Customer Service teams, actively monitoring safety performance, addressing risks and incidents promptly, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The role demands experience in transport, distribution, or logistics environments, a solid understanding of depot workflows and delivery pressures, and a demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance, and professional standards.What you will enjoy doing*You’ll keep us fully compliant with all external agencies like Transport Canada, Health Canada, and also follow Linde’s policies and proceduresLeading the team fairly and consistently helps create a motivated and empowered work environmentManaging daily employee activities while introducing best practices will keep our distribution running smoothlyTimely and accurate reporting on inventories, expenses, maintenance, and performance metrics will be part of your routineYou’ll provide clear leadership to meet the demands of both internal and external customers every dayEnsuring the team is fully trained and committed to safety, quality, and environmental standards is keyYou’ll coordinate all quality and safety training and keep personnel records up to dateIdentifying issues and leading improvement plans around processes, schedules, and training will help us work smarterManaging equipment and vehicle issues and escalating them when needed keeps operations on trackWorking with the National Distribution Team, you’ll ensure trucks are maintained and routes are optimized for maximum efficiencyWhat makes you great*You’ll need a High School Diploma or GED, and having a bachelor’s degree is a plusIdeally, you bring over five (5)



years of experience managing distribution fleets or routesManaging and developing employees for at least two (2) years is something we’re looking forExperience working or managing in a union environment would be a great advantageStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills are key, along with the ability to multitask effectivelyFamiliarity with tools like JD Edwards, Excel, and Microsoft Office will definitely helpKnowing the Transportation of Dangerous Goods and Transport Canada regulations is essential for this roleWhy you will love working with usLinde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company.
