The Cook reports to the Senior Cook and plays a vital role in meal preparation, including special diets. Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve meals, including special dietary needs
• Perform routine cleaning and equipment monitoring
• Receive supplies and maintain a clean kitchen environment
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols
• Communicate effectively with staff and patients
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education and Cook Training Certificate
• Six months related experience or equivalent combination
• Certification in First Aid and Food Safe 2
• Valid Class V Driver's License
• Ability to manage a physically demanding workload
