Job Description: Provides public health inspection services, monitoring, evaluation, consultation, education in an assigned area as well as special projects; provides coverage for other environmental health team members in their absence; works with local governments and other partner agencies on environmental health related issues. Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement

Education: Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health (BSEH)
Licenses: Valid Class 5 driver's license
Other Education and Training: Certificate in Public Health Inspection (Canada), CPHI(C)
Competencies: Planning skills; Organizational skills; Public relations skills; Interpersonal skills; Problem solving skills
Knowledge and Abilities: Ability to prioritize work; Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.; Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
