Dumas Contracting Inc. is seeking a Mid-Senior Lead Electrician for our Stock Mine Project in Timmins, Ontario. Drive safety and efficiency in underground electrical work.
This role entails leading electrical installation projects while directing underground electricians to ensure compliance and safety. Successful candidates will demonstrate technical expertise in reading blueprints and troubleshooting procedures. You will be tasked with ensuring every installation meets the necessary regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute underground electrical installations
• Mentor and oversee a team of electricians
• Analyze and interpret schematics and electrical codes
• Conduct tests on electrical equipment for performance
• Ensure all projects adhere to safety regulations
Requirements:
• Completion of Ontario Underground Hard Rock Mining Modules
• Ontario Hardrock Mining Supervisory Common Core certification or equivalent
• Must hold Electrical Red Seal Journeyman certification
• 5 years of experience in underground electrical work
• Exceptional safety performance record
