Cathedral School is currently in search of an Associate Teacher with a Primary Specialty as our newest team member. The successful candidate will be committed to inspiring students, understanding the unique developmental and social needs of students, and engaging with our vibrant and dynamic school community. Our school emphasizes a robust musical component, and the successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for and knowledge of music in education.

Required: Valid BC Teaching Certification
Strong candidates will:
hold a valid BC Teaching Certification
as an asset have experience in music education
as an asset hold an ECE Certification
be familiar with the BC Ministry of Education Elementary curriculum and core competencies.
use differentiated teaching methods effectively.
understand the use of technologies in the classroom both for learning and learning support.
be familiar with a variety of formative and summative assessment tools.
work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the full school's effectiveness.
support the Anglican Ethos of our school programming.
Salary Range: $53 000 - $56 000 depending on education and experience. Application Deadline Date: Position will be posted until it is filled.
